The League of Legends Pro League (LPL) 2025 season is divided into three splits, with Split 2 running from March 22 to June 14, 2025. This split features 16 teams competing in a multi-phase format:

1. Group Stage (March 22 - 29):

   • Teams are divided into four groups of four, seeded based on Split 1 performance.
   • Each group plays a double round-robin of Best of 1 matches.
   • Top two teams from each group advance to Group Ascend.
   • Third-place teams enter the Ascension Play-In.
   • Bottom teams are placed in Group Nirvana.

2. Ascension Play-In (March 30 - 31):

     • Next six teams proceed to the Knights' Rivals stage.

     • Bottom two teams are eliminated from the 2025 LPL season.

4. Knights' Rivals:

   • Bottom four teams from Group Ascend and top four from Group Nirvana compete in Best of 5 matches.
   • Winners advance to the Playoffs.

5. Playoffs (May 24 - June 14):

   • Twelve teams participate:
     • Top four from Group Ascend.
     • Top two from Group Nirvana.
   • Matches are Best of 5, with a double-elimination bracket.
   • All matches use the "Hard Fearless Draft."
   • Top two teams qualify for the 2025 Mid-Season Invitational and the Esports World Cup 2025.
